It is advisable to visit the Jizera Mountains beech forests from spring to autumn. We want to let nature rest during the winter. At this time, the rocks and some routes can be dangerous due to ice and snow. But don't worry, the beech forests have a lot to offer throughout the year.

Before every visit to the Jizera Mountains Beech Forest, think about suitable footwear and equipment. Since the trails lead mainly through mountainous terrain, choose quality trekking boots and appropriate clothing. Since there can be problems with signal in the forests, you will not get lost even with a map with marked trails.
Move only on marked and permitted routes. This is the only way we can protect the uniqueness of the Jizera Mountains beech forests. Even if the rock viewpoints are equipped with railings, always be careful and consider climbing to the very top, depending on the weather. The surfaces can be slippery in wind or rain.

Respect nature. Do not damage rocks, plants or trees. Take any litter out of the forest with you. Make sure that everything is beautiful for future visitors – and for future generations.
